Intergraph Government Solutions Names President and CEO

New executive leadership appointed by board of directors

MADISON, Ala., June 12, 2014 — (PRNewswire) —  Intergraph Government Solutions (IGS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Intergraph® Corporation serving the U.S. federal market, appointed Joseph Fehrenbach as president and chief executive officer. Prior to his promotion to this position by the IGS board of directors, Fehrenbach served as acting president and chief operating officer (COO) for IGS.  He also serves on the board of directors for IGS.

Prior to IGS, Fehrenbach launched Intergraph's global software research and development center and served as vice president managing Intergraph's Security Government & Infrastructure (SG&I) global sales operations, homeland security and federal solutions businesses.  He also managed several technology programs of national importance, serving as lead researcher for cutting-edge geospatial, imaging and location-based technologies.

Fehrenbach has also worked in key geospatial roles at the U.S. Geological Survey and the Environmental Protection Agency, and served on the faculty at George Washington University and the University of Alabama Huntsville.  He earned an M.B.A. from the University of Alabama, an M.A. from the University of Georgia, and a B.A. from the University of Delaware.
