Mosaik Solutions Launches Wireless Infrastructure Package for MapELEMENTS

ORLANDO, FL -- (Marketwired) -- May 20, 2014 -- Wireless Infrastructure Show Booth #203 -- Mosaik Solutions, the global source for geospatial network intelligence, today extends the capabilities of its cloud-based GIS SaaS, MapELEMENTS®, with the addition of the Wireless Infrastructure Package. The new package was developed specifically for the tower industry and includes multi-level network coverage intelligence for AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon. Among many use cases, this package will help clients learn how tower assets align with wireless networks and to discover coverage holes where towers or network assets may be needed.

The Wireless Infrastructure Package enables a user to upload their tower assets and analyze them against other licensed Mosaik datasets or the user's proprietary information. In addition to multi-level coverage for the four largest operators, the package includes mobile network coverage for all available operators in the U.S., average annual traffic data layers and several new mapping features, like selectable base maps including satellite and topographic, points of interest upload and intersection, and tabular data export. "As a member of PCIA -- The Wireless Infrastructure Association, we understand how vital market intelligence is to the infrastructure community. By providing multi-level network coverage in addition to our vast mobile network and spectrum database, we further empower better decisions throughout this vibrant marketplace," said Bryan Darr, president and CEO of Mosaik Solutions. "In addition to more detailed coverage intelligence, we have significantly expanded the capabilities of MapELEMENTS with tower professionals in mind."

The package is now available for subscription. Current customers and prospects may learn more about it at booth #203 at the Wireless Infrastructure Show and at http://www.mosaik.com/intelligence/mapelements/.

Additionally, Bryan Darr is speaking on a panel discussion at the 2014 Wireless Infrastructure Show titled "Rural Broadband Infrastructure Gaps in the U.S." on Wednesday, May 21 at 2 p.m. Darr is a wireless industry thought-leader who founded Mosaik Solutions in 1988 and has committed the company to supporting the wireless industry throughout its existence.
