Five New Smartphone Models Targeted for China and India Now Support MHL Based on MediaTek’s MT6592 and MT6595 Octa-Core Mobile Platforms

SUNNYVALE, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — May 12, 2014Silicon Image (NASDAQ: SIMG), a leading provider of multimedia connectivity solutions and services, today announced that its reference design partnership with MediaTek has resulted in five new design wins for MHL®-enabled smartphone models from various China and international brands.
