Geospatial World Leadership Awards Announced
Southampton, UK. 9 May 2014: Snowflake Software, has been named Geospatial Technology Company of 2013 at the Geospatial World Leadership Awards at the Geospatial World Forum in Geneva, Switzerland, in recognition of the company’s leadership and contributions towards the global development of the geospatial industry.

The awards jury, comprising of Prof. Fraser Taylor, Distinguished Research Professor at Carleton University; Aida Opoku Mensah, Director, ICT, Science and Technology Division at the United Nations; Matt O'Connell, President of MOC Partners; Prof. Henk Scholten, CEO of Geodan and Scientific Director of the SPINlab at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam; and David Schell, Chairman of the Open Geospatial Consortium, unanimously awarded Snowflake Software the honour.
The Geospatial World Leadership Awards recognise, acknowledge and honour outstanding professionals, entrepreneurs, organisations, programmes and academic institutions, who have made significant contributions towards the development of geospatial technology, products, applications and capacity development, and in turn have helped in making geospatial technology almost a global commodity.
