April 28, 2014 -- Annapolis, MD - The Maryland Society of Surveyors (MSS) today announced it has retained the firm of John M. Palatiello & Associates, Inc. (JMP&A) to provide association management services.

"JMP&A's significant experience in the association management field and expert knowledge of the surveying profession made them an attractive candidate in our search for a management company," said Tim Quinn, PLS, (Rodgers Consulting, Inc., Germantown, MD), Chair of the MSS Search Committee.

JMP&A will provide overall association management services and guide the day-to-day operations of the society. The firm will be involved in financial management; member communications; public and media relations services; education; conference planning and coordination services; and will work with the society to develop government affairs strategies. Mr. Palatiello will serve as the Executive Director for MSS.
