LOUISVILLE, Colo. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — April 4, 2014 — Offering free exhibit floor entry to Design Automation Conference (DAC), Atrenta, Cadence and Jasper Design Automation are sponsoring three-day passes through the sixth annual “I LOVE DAC” campaign. DAC is the premier conference devoted to the design and automation of electronic systems. The conference offers outstanding training, education, exhibits and networking opportunities for designers, researchers, tool developers and vendors. The 51st DAC will be held at Moscone Center in San Francisco, Calif. from June 1- 5, 2014.

The I LOVE DAC exhibit pass includes free entry to the exhibits on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (June 2 - 4, 2014), plus entry into the five Keynotes, the DAC Pavilion and networking events each evening from 6:00 – 7:00pm. What’s Happening on the Exhibition Floor

With over 175 exhibitors, including 12 first-time exhibitors, this year’s exhibition offers exciting technologies and vendors to attendees. A feature at the exhibition is the ARM® Connected Community® Pavilion, where attendees can visit ARM technology- based demos from ARM partners. Currently 15 partners are exhibiting in the ARM Pavilion.

New to the exhibit floor at the 51st DAC is the Automotive Village. The Automotive Village is the center for tool providers, OEMs and leading automobile manufacturers to meet, talk, listen and learn from each other. Exhibitors include: ANSYS, Dassault Systems, SimuQuest, Mathworks, Mentor Graphics and Synopsys.

The DAC Pavilion is one of the major highlights on the exhibition floor, offering all attendees the opportunity to learn about key areas of design through an eclectic mix of panels, presentations and interviews. The Pavilion will host a lineup of 16 exciting, educational and entertaining presentations/ panels including the annual “What’s Hot at DAC” covered by Gary Smith of GarySmtih EDA on Monday morning; a fireside chat with Wally Rhines, CEO, Mentor Graphics and James Buczkowski, Henry Ford Technical Fellow, Ford Motor Company. In addition, a device “tear-down” will be pre-selected by DAC attendees.

I LOVE DAC Campaign

Attendees wearing an I LOVE DAC button from either this year or previous years are eligible to win a DJI Phantom Drone with GoPRO camera. Attendees who are randomly spotted wearing an I LOVE DAC button will be entered into the drawing. The winner will be announced at the DAC Pavilion on Wednesday, June 4 at 4:45pm.

The 2014 edition of this collectable button can be picked up at these booths: Atrenta #1933, Cadence #2616, Jasper #2033 or the DAC Pavilion #313.
