March 17, 2014 -- Increasingly, firms are challenged to leverage the benefits of laser scanning for as-built and quality control with modeling tools built on AutoCAD. However, the savings in time and accuracy with collecting point clouds of existing and pre-fab infrastructure is often lost by the time design applications can process the data usefully.
