During the ceremony held at the Saatchi Gallery in London on 28th November, the innovative tridimensional surfaces of 3D SURFACE has been awarded at the Interior World News Awards 2013 for the category Interior Accessories. 3D Surface has been the only Italian company that received the award. 

6 December 2013 -- Thanks to the elegance of these collections and the possibility of creating any kind of texture the jury was captivated and made it possible for 3D SURFACE to win the prize for the Interior Accessories category.

The ceremony, which took place on 28th November, at the Saatchi Gallery in London hosted the most illustrious names of architecture and design, as well as a highly qualified jury, composed by Sir Terence Conran, designer, restorer, retailers and writer; Ed Richardson, director of MODUS; Pavlo Schtakleft, founder of Se; Piyush Suri, director and founder of Handmade Britain; Justin Pratt, Manager of the London UK & International Division of Knoll Studio; Philippa Prinsloo , senior designer from John Lewis; Heather Naylor of B&B Italy. The over 300 participants from all over the world were entertained during the evening and were led to the discovery of excellence in design by Andrew Graham-Dixon, art historian and well-known presenter.

An important result for the young company arose from the meeting of Roman Zenoni and Alessandro and Stefano Fazzuoli, artisans with fifty years of experience in the field of interior finishes, which have given shape to an innovative cladding system: tridimensional surfaces to create decorative coatings that make infinite and continuous effects, without interruption or joints.

Made of ceramic coated fiber-reinforced mortar solutions for interior and exterior (TRG, TRB), the walls are presented in 18 textures, designed by Jacopo Cecchi under the artistic direction of Roman Zenoni, formed by elements which once applied converse with each other giving rise to unique effects: an authentic reproduction of reality, such as Bamboo, Deserto, Capitonnè or abstract surfaces fruit of the imagination and contemporary art trends, is the case of Tagli, Treccia and Caos.

This important award given by well-known international portal World Interiors News reaches the end of a year of major successes for 3D SURFACE sculpture-walls that have also been selected for the ADI Design Index 2013 .
