Attendees to learn how CTDOT and others are leveraging digital communication throughout the life of a project
PASADENA, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — September 5, 2013 — Next week, attendees at the International Highway Engineering Exchange Program (IHEEP) will have a special opportunity to learn how the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is digitizing its workflows with PDF. During a speaking session titled “Innovations in Digital Communication – How the CTDOT and Others Leverage 2D and 3D PDFs to Go Digital,” Bluebeam® Software Director of Strategic Alliances, Sasha Reed, and East Coast Regional Manager, James Chambers, will share how CTDOT is using advanced PDF technology to transform their workflows from paper-based processes to faster, more efficient electronic workflows.
“Over the past two years, the CTDOT has leveraged Bluebeam Revu to implement electronic workflows that utilize the full benefits of advanced PDF technology, including electronic markup, bookmarking and digital signatures,” said Reed. “During this session, attendees will learn how they can replicate these processes, form an implementation plan and get real results within their own organizations.”
Bluebeam, the leading developer of PDF-based markup and collaboration solutions for technical professionals, has been working closely with representatives from CTDOT as they have made this digital migration. In addition to presenting their case study, Bluebeam will also be exhibiting throughout the show to demonstrate how Bluebeam’s flagship PDF solution, Revu®, enables users to digitize workflows in the office, in the field and everywhere in between.
IHEEP is taking place September 8th – 11th at the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas. The CTDOT case study presentation is scheduled for Monday, September 9th, from 3:15pm – 4:00pm CDT. For more information about the conference, visit www.iheep2013.com.
