Synergis Earns Autodesk Digital Prototyping Certification

QUAKERTOWN, Pa., July 9, 2013 — (PRNewswire) —  Synergis Technologies, Inc. today announced that it has earned the new Manufacturing Autodesk Digital Prototyping Certification designation for value added resellers from Autodesk, Inc., a world leader in 3D design, engineering and entertainment software. By completing the required curriculum and training, as well as meeting required levels of standards set by Autodesk, Synergis has demonstrated their ability to be a trusted adviser and expert in Digital Prototyping.

"Synergis has been supporting manufacturing companies for over 25 years, and our success comes from providing customers with the solutions that best fit their needs," said Kristen Tomasic, vice president of Synergis' Engineering Design Solutions Division. "These customers depend on the expertise we provide, and the certifications our team earns are a result of their understanding and knowledge of the Autodesk solutions. We are excited to be the first reseller to earn the Autodesk Digital Prototyping Certification."

The Autodesk solution for Digital Prototyping brings together design data from all phases of the development process into a single digital model, which gives manufacturers the ability to better design, visualize, and simulate a complete product with less reliance on costly physical prototypes—and minimal disruption to existing workflows.

"We are very pleased to recognize Synergis' expertise and commitment to providing software that allows manufacturers to design, manufacture and market the world's best products," said Bill Griffin, Vice President Worldwide Channel Sales, Autodesk. "It's great to have companies like Synergis as partners in delivering a revolutionary approach to product development."

In addition to its newly acquired Digital Prototyping certification, Synergis is an Autodesk Platinum Tier Value-Added Reseller and has achieved numerous Autodesk Specializations including Simulation, Fabrication, PLM, and Factory.
