Company to demonstrate latest advanced image sensor design tools including version 16 of HiPer Silicon, the full-flow analog and mixed-signal design suite
MONROVIA, California – March 12, 2013 – Tanner EDA, the catalyst for innovation for the design, layout and verification of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs), will be represented by EDA Solutions, their sole representative in Europe, at Image Sensors 2013, which is being held on 19-21 March 2013 at the Park Plaza Victoria hotel in London, UK.
The development of silicon for leading-edge image sensors and imaging technology is a key strategic focus for Tanner EDA. At the event, EDA Solutions will be presenting the latest version of the company’s HiPer Silicon™ full-flow analog and mixed-signal design suite. Version 16 of HiPer Silicon with OpenAccess is the most comprehensive and productive tool on the market for the development of advanced mixed-signal image sensor designs, providing users with unprecedented interoperability and advanced capabilities. EDA Solutions also will be demonstrating the DesignCraft™ logic synthesis tools from Incentia Design Systems and the Riviera-PRO™ mixed-language digital simulator from Aldec.
At the event, EDA Solutions also will be showing samples of the advanced wafer-scale sensor that was developed for medical imaging applications by the Science and Technology Facilities Council's Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. Enabled by advanced analog design tools from Tanner EDA, the highly innovative imager is an innovative three-sided 'buttable' high-resolution high-frame-rate sensor that integrates 6.7 million pixels on 50-micron pitch for mammography applications.
