ASCE’s Los Angeles Section Celebrates Centennial by Highlighting Area’s Challenges and Proposing Effective Solutions

(Los Angeles, CA)—The Los Angeles Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the ASCE Region 9 (California) will host their Annual California Infrastructure Symposium on March 6, 2013 from 8am to 4pm. As our community continues to debate how we can repair our aging infrastructure, the Symposium offers public leaders and infrastructure experts the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss how we can work together to fix California’s infrastructure.

The Symposium will cover two infrastructure panel tracks--the first on transportation issues, and the other on issues relating to water. The Symposium is in conjunction with the ASCE Los Angeles Section’s Centennial Anniversary, and is expected to include over 400 business leaders, infrastructure advocates and decision makers.
