At ARM TechCon 2012 Booth #54 - Carbon Design Systems Kicks Off Six-Week Series of ARM Events, Starting With ARM TechCon October 30

ACTON, MA -- (Marketwire) -- Oct 23, 2012 -- Carbon Design Systems™ Inc., the leading supplier of virtual platform and secure model solutions, will participate in a series of ARM-sponsored events, starting with ARM® TechCon™ Chip Design Day October 30 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif.

Bill Neifert, Carbon's chief technology officer, and Rob Kaye, ARM technical specialist, will present "High Performance or Cycle Accuracy? You Can Have Both!" at ARM TechCon at 10:30 a.m. October 30 in Room 203 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. They will describe a software solution that can be used in the development of device drivers for systems employing ARM's big.LITTLE processing. Additionally, Carbon will exhibit in Booth #54 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., demonstrating its system level virtual prototype solutions. These solutions include Carbon's widely adopted Carbon Performance Analysis Kits (CPAKs) that enable performance analysis, pre-silicon software development and accurate system benchmarking within minutes of download.

Beginning in early November, Carbon will participate in ARM's 10 2012 Technical Symposia. At each, Carbon will offer attendees a look at its fast, accurate virtual prototypes that scale from 100% accuracy to hundreds of MIPS performance.

Carbon participation in ARM's Technical Symposia program starts in Seoul, Korea November 20 and then moves to Taiwan with a symposium in Taipei November 22 and Hsinchu November 23. The event moves to Shanghai November 26, with two more being held in Beijing November 28 and Shenzhen November 30. Another will be held in Tokyo, Japan, December 6. The series concludes in Paris December 13.
