SAE International to Host Counterfeit Parts Avoidance Symposium

WARRENDALE, Pa., Aug. 20, 2012 — (PRNewswire) — The increase of counterfeit parts entering the supply chain is causing serious challenges for aerospace and defense manufacturers on a global level. To address this critical time-sensitive issue, SAE International and TTI, Inc. have partnered to present the first " SAE 2012 Counterfeit Parts Avoidance Symposium." This powerful one-day educational and networking event will be held Friday, November 2, 2012, in Phoenix, AZ.

Attendees will discuss the challenges of this issue through an open forum environment and learn about the negative impact that counterfeit electronic parts are having on business, and the current processes in place to mitigate this growing problem.
