Irvine, CALIFORNIA, June 20th, 2012 - Luxion, makers of KeyShot^® 3D rendering and animation software, is excited to announce a brand new 3D Rendering and Animation Challenge. Our previous watch rendering challenge was such a hit, we wanted to offer another opportunity to win a license of KeyShot. Over the next three weeks, we present the challenge to create the coolest, most intense engine rendering or animation with two seats of KeyShot Pro including Animation going to the entry for Best Rendering and Best Animation.

This time, Luxion and GrabCAD are teaming up for a friendly competition between each community! The GrabCAD community and the KeyShot community are going head-to-head to see who can submit the most creative, high-quality renderings possible. This KeyShot rendering competition is a chance for GrabCAD members, KeyShot users, and those interested in using KeyShot, to compete amongst each other, displaying their ability to create stunning compositions using KeyShot.

Those interested in entering may use an  engine model from GrabCAD or any other engine model. The model must be rendered in KeyShot (free trial available) with the entries being judged on Realism, Creativity and Composition. There will be three winners. One for Best Rendering, one for Best Animation and one for Best Student Rendering. The contest runs until Saturday July 7th, Midnight PST with the winners being announced the following week, Thursday, July 12th via the KeyShot and GrabCAD blogs. Full details on the challenge can be found here.
