Marty Cornacchi joins CAM Focus Consultants

December 5, 2012 - OPEN MIND Technologies USA has experienced strong and consistent growth for the last 8 years. This has been accomplished by a strong team of OPEN MIND staff together with Value-Added Resellers in selected markets. CAM Focus Consultants and their associates have worked with OPEN MIND for over 12 years in Ontario, Canada. They are servicing customers in the traditional mould and die industry, as well as aerospace and parts manufacturing.

Marty Cornacchi joined CAM Focus in October 2011 as Vice President of Operations. Marty is leading a team with veteran sales resources and skilled machinists and hyperMILL users. “Our team is focused on providing strong CAM solutions and building strong relationships with our customers”, says Cornacchi. The team is fully able to provide solutions for 2.5-axis through 5-axis and mill-turn applications, including for software products and training and engineering consulting.

Marty brings a strong CAD background, as well as previously working as a dealer with another mainstream CAM software company and has been involved in specialty CAM software for the garment industry.

OPEN MIND provides software solutions in standalone hyperCAD platform, as well as Gold-partner integration hyperMILL for SolidWorks and Certified hyperMILL in Inventor. This variety of solutions provides high-end modelling, and integration with familiar and popular CAD systems. The integrations reduce the possibility of model errors that occur by using neutral translation formats or third-party importing tools. hyperMILL’s integration allows machining to occur directly on the end-user CAD models.
