Techniques to overlay computer aided designs (CAD) produced by multiple designers to achieve coordination are well established in the building industry, but are less common in general civil engineering and infrastructure. An integrated CAD model was used to manage the multi-disciplinary, multi-designer London 2012 project ensuring a coordinated design was achieved.
