Special Nonprofit Pricing Announced for Esri Community Analyst

Nonprofits Can Affordably Implement SaaS Mapping Solution to Help Improve Projects and Increase Fund-raising

Redlands, California—August 31, 2011—Esri Community Analyst is now available to qualified nonprofit organizations located in the United States for 50 percent off the regular subscription fee. Humanitarian, environmental, and conservation groups can implement this Software as a Service (SaaS) mapping and data analysis solution to better understand the populations they serve, track the effectiveness of their services, and specifically target fund-raising efforts.

These features allow nonprofit staff to perform many important functions. For example, staff can discover who lives in at-risk areas by viewing sociodemographic information on a map, which can then be used to determine which services will be most effective and help allocate critical resources for the greatest impact when preparing for crises. Funding for these services can be boosted by targeting the areas where potential donors live for marketing and fund-raising campaigns.

Community Analyst is available for this reduced subscription fee through the Esri Nonprofit Organization Program. This program is designed to provide conservation and humanitarian nonprofit organizations with an affordable means of acquiring Esri software and services. Other types of nonprofit organizations may also qualify. Eligibility is based on formal tax-exempt status, signified by a 501(c) designation and National Taxonomy of Exempt Entities (NTEE) category.
