Esri Seminar to Spotlight the New ArcGIS API for Windows Phone

April 7, 2011 -- 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m. (Pacific daylight time) The new ArcGIS API for Windows Phone lets developers build and deploy mobile geographic information system (GIS) applications. To familiarize you with the API, Esri will host the free live training seminar Introduction to ArcGIS API for Windows Phone on April 7, 2011.

With ArcGIS API for Windows Phone, you can quickly build interesting and useful applications that feature GIS maps and robust functionality. The functionality lets you overlay data on basemaps from ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Server, query and edit map features, execute geoprocessing models, and explore the results.

The presenter will demonstrate how to use the API to build custom applications and how to deploy them within your enterprise or to the public via Microsoft’s Windows Phone Marketplace.
