AIA and Sherwin-Williams Continue Partnership in 2019

WASHINGTON – Feb. 21, 2019– The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is continuing its AIA Innovation Partnership with Sherwin-Williams this year to enhance support of architects in practice and build the company’s knowledge base about the profession.

“Our partnership not only benefits architects in the near-term but provides insights to Sherwin-Williams that will help them tailor future products for the architecture community,” said AIA EVP/Chief Executive Officer Robert Ivy, FAIA. “We’re looking forward to another year of progress with Sherwin-Williams.”

As an AIA Innovation Partner, Sherwin-Williams and the Institute will continue to work to facilitate a greater understanding of architects and their preferences in using paints and coatings to support their designs.

"We are pleased to continue our partnership with AIA and are committed to supporting the architect community," said Sherwin-Williams Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing Tom Liebhardt. "Architects are integral to the building process and we are happy to support professionals currently in the industry and those just getting started."
