Held in Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K., Feb. 26, The BIM Awards will recognize outstanding achievements in BIM followed by BIM Show Live on Feb. 27-28, where visitors can attend feature keynotes, panel discussions and interactive seminar sessions from global BIM and digital construction experts. The Nemetschek brands will showcase collaborative software workflows for BIM, optimized for Nemetschek Group solutions, on the show floor with in-person demonstrations at stands 7-11.
Day One on the Tech Stage will feature a presentation from the Group titled, ‘Partnering to Define Construction Data Standards: How Tech and Construction are Coming Together to Define Data Standards.’ The presentation, led by Sasha Reed, VP of Industry Advocacy at Bluebeam, will elaborate on the question of “How can technology providers and contractors align to better define standards around going digital?” Reed will also touch on the topics of PDF Guidelines, Common Data Exchange Challenge, Standard Exchange Programs in the U.S. versus Sweden, and Data Validation and the Future of Compliance.
Visitors can attend Reed’s presentation on Feb. 27 from 15:45 – 16:30 p.m. GMT, at The Holly Classroom (formerly the Ant classroom).
