Mazor Robotics Receives Eleven Renaissance Systems Orders During the Second Quarter of 2016

CAESAREA, Israel — (BUSINESS WIRE) — July 6, 2016 — Mazor Robotics Ltd. (TASE:MZOR; NASDAQGM:MZOR), a developer of innovative guidance systems and complementary products, announced today that it received orders for eleven Renaissance systems in the second quarter ended June 30, 2016. The Company received orders for six systems in the U.S., including two systems with the brain module. Internationally, the Company received purchase orders for five systems from its distribution partners, including three systems in China, one in Italy and one in Australia. As of June 30, 2016, one of the three systems in China was delivered to the Chinese distribution partner and the two others will be delivered during the second half of 2016.

Internationally, we received purchase orders for five systems in Europe and Asia, including an order for three systems in China. Mazor Robotics ended the second quarter with an installed base of 122 Renaissance systems globally, including 74 in the U.S., the Company’s primary growth market. The Company expects that revenue related to some of the systems ordered in the second quarter of 2016 may be recognized in future periods. The Company currently intends to report its complete financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2016 during the month of August.
