4DSP Delivers the World's 1st Dual UltraScale, FMC+, 6U VPX Board

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwired - June 16, 2016) - 4DSP LLC Delivers the world's 1st 6U OpenVPX COTS Board with both UltraScale and VITA 57.4 Compliant FMC+ I/O. With the power of Xilinx UltraScale the VP868 is capable of meeting advanced application requirements today and tomorrow. The two VITA 57.4 Compliant FMC+ sites make the VP868 the world's most flexible and powerful COTS FPGA board. The VP868 can support all FMC compliant boards as well as future FMC+ enabled devices. Doubling the I/O density was not enough, the VP868 doubles the processing power too. The VP868 features two Xilinx UltraScale FPGAs with up to 36GB of DDR3 SDRAM and was designed to allow for lower risk migration to UltraScale+ devices in the future. The VP868 also features a powerful 7000 series Zynq embedded processor with 1GB of DDR3 for computational offload and board resource management. The Zynq processor is further enabled with a single FMC LPC site for further onboard I/O capabilities.

Products like the VP868 have allowed 4DSP customers to accelerate deployment of advanced reconfigurable computation. The VP868 was designed to enable engineers to quickly migrate from the lab to deployment. The board is available in commercial and industrial temperature ratings as well as air and conduction cooled configurations.
