BARCELONA, September 24, 2015 — (PRNewswire) —

The once-haunted house awoke from a long sleep to reveal the legends of its façade, and the symbols and interpretations that inspired Gaudí. The Casa Batlló's façade incorporates architectural details that express many allegories, one of which evokes the legend of a ferocious dragon, asleep on the roof.

Last night, thousands of citizens and visitors celebrating La Merce, the festival of the Patron Saint of Barcelona, participated in a public performance organized by Casa Batlló. Participants synchronized their smart phones and awoke the dragon in a unique telematics display.

'The Awakening of the Casa Batlló' was a vibrant projection show detailing in bright lights the legend of the battle between Saint Georges and the giant Dragon, leaving Casa Batlló awash in brilliant colour and visitors with the memory of a magical experience.
