October 15, 2013 -- US rugged mobile computer manufacturer Juniper Systems has appointed Simon Bowe as its General Manager of its newly formed company, Juniper Systems Limited, to spearhead UK and European operations.  He will be setting up a new office and service centre to offer the complete range of Juniper Systems products and services to better serve its partners and customers in Europe and the surrounding regions.

Bowe has held senior sales and management positions with computer manufacturers, distributors and value added resellers during his 30 years within the IT sector. Prior to joining Juniper Systems, he spent 10 years as General Manager of the UK and EMEA division of DAP Technologies, another rugged mobile computer manufacturer and supplier.

As a veteran of the rugged mobile computer industry, he understands what organisations large and small need to improve the working practices of their mobile workforce to solve problems, increase efficiency and introduce new revenue streams.
