Steve Wheeldon B.Eng (Hons), Structural Engineer at Alexander Dennis Limited, based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, has been using MSC Apex Modeler for over 12 months to expedite the CAD geometry clean-up and meshing process as part of the preparation required for carrying out Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on bus chassis frames and body structures.
